"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."

-Albert Einstein

I graduated from Ottawa University with a Specialization in English Literature and a Minor in Religious Studies. I have been a camp counselor and done leadership training with the City of Ottawa, assisting staff with the weekly planning and implementation of special activities. I have tutored both English and French to children of various ages. After having undergone leadership training I became a team leader with Douvris Martial Arts and the experience allowed me to establish teaching skills in a group setting as well as develop mentoring techniques suited to individual students. As a new teacher who is still learning, I hope to continue toning, strengthening, and developing my skill sets in order to be an engaging, enthusiastic, and effective teacher.

About Personality

I am a passionate and creative person who writes poetry and dabbles in photography. I am an organized individual who has, at one time, juggled the responsibility of maintaining three jobs, going to school, and playing volleyball with the city. As mentioned above, I was a leader with Douvris Martial Arts. While I trained with Douvris I became a black belt and represented Canada at several World Karate Championships. I am a kind and understanding individual who looks forward to teaching and learning alongside my students.
